Junior Reseacher

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Researcher to join our dynamic team at ProDefense. As a Junior Researcher, you will play a crucial role in conducting cutting-edge security research and developing innovative solutions to protect our clients' digital assets. Tech stack

• Knowledge of various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and packet analysis tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools (e.g., Nmap, Metasploit)
• Understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Knowledge of cryptography principles and secure coding practices
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Your role

• Conduct in-depth security research and analysis to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with the team to design and develop new tools, techniques, and methodologies for detecting and mitigating cyber risks
• Perform security assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, attack techniques, and security technologies
• Contribute to the creation of technical reports, white papers, and presentations to share research findings internally and with clients
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and provide training to team members on relevant cybersecurity topics

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
