ProDefense traces its origins back to the renowned DevilSec club at Arizona State University (ASU), where a group of passionate individuals excelled in cybersecurity, achieving the rank of #1 in the world through their dedication and participation in Hack The Box competitions. Motivated to make a real-world impact, they branched out and established ProDefense, a consulting company focused on helping organizations strengthen their security presence. Our journey commenced within the dynamic halls of DevilSec in 2019, igniting a passion for cybersecurity and pentesting. DevilSec, rapidly evolving into a thriving community with hundreds of members, attracted students eager to explore the cybersecurity realm. Beyond our campus, DevilSec hosted distinguished speakers from industry-leading companies, providing members with invaluable insights and exposure to real-world expertise. The success of DevilSec's talented pentesters was evident as they were recruited by prestigious companies such as Bishop Fox, Mandiant, Google, and Facebook. While acknowledging these achievements, our aspirations expanded beyond individual success. The members of DevilSec envisioned a broader impact, leading to the inception of ProDefense—a natural extension of the club's commitment to excellence.
